CHALLENGE & CHANGE
Schools focus on Scholastic & Professional skills but not financial skills. This explains why smart bankers, doctors & accountants who earned excellent grades may struggle financially all of their lives. Our staggering national debt is due in large part to highly educated politicians and government officials making financial decisions with little or no training in the subject of money. Money is one form of power. But what is more powerful is financial education. Money comes and goes, but if you have the education about how money works, you gain power over it & can begin building wealth. The reason positive thinking alone does not work is because most people went to school and never learned how money works, so they spend their lives working for money.
The world is moving faster & faster. Stock market trades are made in milliseconds. Deals come & go on the internet is a matter of minutes. More & More people are competing for good deals. So the faster you can make a decision the more likely you'll be able to seize opportunities.... Before someone else does.
Buying or building assets that deliver cash flow is putting your money to work for you. High - paying jobs mean two things: you're working for money & the taxes you pay will probably increase.
While I am a huge supporter of education & life- long learning, 'going to school' --- especially college--- has become a financial nightmare. Student loan debt is at record highs with 44 million.
As government expand & need more and more money, the only place to get it is the middle class. That means the workers. Every government now favors the professional invester & business owner. Workers pay tax: investors and business owners pay very little tax: if they use the tax law as intended----- as a tool to build the economy.
With the advent of derivatives and an increasingly complex economy, mastering money has become essential to surviving in the world economy. With low interest rates and an uncertain market, the old adages of saving and investing for the long term make no sense.
In the information Age and the internet, millions of people under the age of 30 are getting rich using their imaginations to create apps that change the world. Those with imagination thrive while those without it are still looking for a job..... A job that may soon be replaced by robots & technology.
